Getting around Grenada - Dive Grenada
Nurse Shark at Shark Reef GrenadaDiving at shark reef GrenadaThose wishing to see sharks on their diving in Grenada should not miss the dive just off Glover Island known as Shark Reef.
The site is home to a number of nurse sharks that hide in the shadows under overhangs, and feed off the abundant marine life on the reef.
Eels, pufferfish, stonefish, starfish, yellow snappers, lobsters and a huge number of black triggerfish are all resident to the site, and ensure an interesting and exciting dive.
Depths range from 13 to 19 metres, and visibility is generally approximately 15 metres.

This is a straightforward boat dive on a reef that is full of life. Look out for nurse sharks hiding in the shadows under overhangs.
There may also be moray eels, pufferfish, blue wrasse, yellow snappers, stonefish, lobsters and starfish and plenty of black triggerfish.

Nurse SharkDiving at shark reef GrenadaThe gentle slope drops down to a 60 feet deep sandy flat bottom, where you might spot sting rays.
Most of the nurse sharks sighted here however were found in the shallows, hiding under corals and stones.
Sometimes you will loose count on the sharks and turtles, some other day you will see a few only.
But the reef itself is beautiful and always steaming of fish and marine life.
